My Labor Day Tradition: Rerum Novarum

Yep, no matter what the gig is for Labor Day my tradition since formation is to read this incredible encyclical of Pope Leo XIII, the gold standard for all things social justice.  It is well worth the entire read:

Then you have the great Saint, Pope John Paul II and Laborem Exercens written in homage to Rerum Novarum on the 90th anniversary of it's publication:

These two works will give you a great insight into the teachings of Holy Mother Church on the dignity of work, labor, fair wages, human dignity and the common good.

Settle in, relax, enjoy!
