The Diocese of Brooklyn has lost another clergyman.
This news has been circulating on Facebook this morning: Deacon Jamie “Jimmy” Pinzon, from St. Joan of Arc Parish in Jackson Heights, has died as a result of the coronavirus.
I’m awaiting further details. Please remember his wife and family during this painful time. From the biography published at his ordination in 2013:
Jaime Pinzon of St. Joan of Arc parish, Jackson Heights, was born in Guatemala City, Guatemala. Married to Elma Nineth, he has two children. He is an architect.
