Guess what - Wendy is home. She survived sepsis, a potentially deadly occurrence, and her pneumonia is 95% cleared up. All good news, but a caution, she must listen to doctors orders, rest, quit trying to fix everyone else and take her medicine exactly as prescribed.
It is sad to see her using a walker because of the weakness, etc. but an easy to handle trade-off since she beat such awful illnesses. Wendy is restricted to home for a week except doctor appointments and limited in what she can do for 4 weeks. In fact, total recovery, per her doctors is 8 weeks total. We will see how compliant she will be.
So for the 1st time in 9 days, we all get to spend an evening under one roof, Wendy, Delilah and me too!
Keep praying.
By the way several people have volunteered to cook and do some grocery pick up for us; you all are wonderful! I will send another update out in a few hours or sometime tomorrow.
