The entire letter from Pope Francis to the U.S. Bishops while on retreat in response to the clergy sex abuse crisis

Pope Francis told the Bishops of this country to go on a retreat and discern the crisis of credibility caused by offending clergy and then often covered up at higher levels.  The words "crisis of credibility" are not mine, they are those of Pope Francis.

If the issues we have learned about in the past year concern you greatly, and how can they not, read this letter then pray for our Bishops especially as the retreat continues.
