Tuesday in the Steve Gleason household is also known as "Dudes-day," as in the day the former New Orleans Saints special teamer spends with his son, Rivers.
"Rivers is an awesome kid," said Steve's wife, Michel. "He's a left-handed thrower like his dad. He's super-dramatic, like me. ... Most importantly he's a happy kid, and we're both so lucky for that."
NBC Sports highlighted the Gleasons' continued fight against ALS during the Super Bowl 2015 pregame show Sunday. Gleason said during the segment he would not let ALS make him quietly fade away.
