As a Supreme Court decision draws closer, a community prayer for the unborn

 Heavenly Father,

Thank you for creating each of us, including our unborn brothers and sisters, in Your image and likeness.

We ask for your protection on all precious babies waiting to be born.  We lift up their mothers and fathers in their moment of need.

We pray for the Justices of the Supreme Court of the United States as they reconsider Roe v. Wade.  Please grant them wisdom to make decisions that safeguard the rights of the least among us.  Grant them the courage to stand for truth even when they face opposition.

We pray for our nation that we may ensure that every life be cherished in the laws of our nation and the hearts of our people.  

We ask this through Christ our Lord.  Amen.
