Early indications are the Catholic vote goes to Obama

At least that is what most political pundits and pollsters are saying on this Wednesday morning.  On the day after the reelection of the most pro-abortion and the most anti Catholic President, in terms of the HHS mandate, Catholics favored Obama 52% to 45% in an average of early morning polls.

At least one major poll was factual enough to distinguish between a Catholic and Catholics who actually attend Mass.  Those who go to weekly Mass favored Romney, but only by about 55-45%.

Is this to be expected? Do Catholics not get it?  Are Catholics that far removed from the teachings of the Church?  IS this a rejection of the leadership of our current Bishops?

All of this begs answers and I hope to explore them later today.  For now, time and a real job are calling so we return to this subject later today.

I did notice that the sun indeed came up today!
