Cardinal Timothy Dolan had plenty to say about Republican VP candidate Paul Ryan. Of course he would be familiar with Ryan from his days as Archbishop of Milwaukee. The overall interview is pretty positive stuff. Is it an endorsement. I would say no as all Catholic clergy should never endorse a particular candidate. But it sure sounds like a good character reference. Decide for yourself. Article in full here:
