LSU Tigers manhandled the #8 Miami Hurricanes 33-17 with Miami scoring 14 of the 17 late in the 4th quarter. LSU dominated to the point of having, at one time, a 33-3 lead.
I am relieved as a loss in this high profile game, in my opinion, could have set them on the path to a possible 6-6 season. Now we will wait and see, although Auburn awaits just 2 weeks from now.
No time tonight to dissect the game but suffice to say the defense held up and the offense was a pleasant surprise especially the QB play and the play of RB #4 Brossette.
So for now, I am thrilled with the victory, a little disappointed in the lack of offense for most of the 2md half but too pleased at defeating Miami to really care! LSU next tackles SLU then it's Auburn. Quite unexpectedly I'm really looking forward to these next two games.
Geaux Tigers!
