Alvin Kamara wins AP Offensive Rookie of the Year
One day after winning Pepsi Rookie of the Year, Saints running back Alvin Kamara takes home Associated Press Offensive Rookie of the Year.
Kamara beat out Kansas City Chiefs rookie running back Kareem Hunt for the award at the NFL Honors show in Minneapolis.

The 2018 Pro Bowl selection led all rookies with 14 total touchdowns.
Kamara finished with 1,554 scrimmage yards, which was ranked second among all the rookies.
Kamara joined Gale Sayers as the only rookies to have at least five rushing touchdowns, five receiving touchdowns and a kickoff-return for a touchdown.
The 67th overall selection in the 2017 NFL draft rushed for 728 yards, averaging 6.1 yards per carry, which ranked first in the NFL.
He also led all rookies with 81 receptions, the third-most by a rookie running back in NFL History.
