When family comes to town

This Advent, as Christmas rapidly approaches, we are blessed to have our North Carolina family with us for a few days.  It's not a lot of time but we'll take it.  After the incredibly eventful November visit to North Carolina, complete with my hospitalization, it is nice to have my family here at our house.



Calvin & Katelyn arrived last night with mom and dad in tow and we had nice visits all day today, like when the gang drove to Pearl River and met me for lunch, after a little tour of the bank I manage.  After lunch, we all gathered together this evening for dinner, followed by presents galore.  For the first time in well over a year, I had both of my children, both their spouses and both our grandchildren all under one roof.

We enjoy being with them tremendously.

It is a quick trip so we have a very hectic Saturday planned, more family coming for an afternoon visit and then we will move on to Sunday.  I can't wait for Saturday!

When family comes to town, it is a complete joy!
