The morning dawns for thousands of Louisiana citizens still underwater or preparing to salvage belongings from flooded homes. Businesses, churches and schools are devastated. And this is a wide swath of land, from the Hammond area on the Northshore of New Orleans, west to Baton Rouge, Lafayette and beyond.
This exit 10 off I-12 is one I've driven past many, many times in my life. The bank I work for has a branch just yards away from exit 10.
Indeed, we still need prayers for Louisiana:
