Statement from Archbishop of New Orleans

A Statement from Archbishop Gregory Aymond
"We have witnessed the largest mass shooting in the United States. This terrorist attack is a sign of the lack of respect for human life. We live in a time of irrational violence and cannot shrug it off as "another 51 people died". Let us speak about respect for all, be instruments of peace and make sure our personal lives are peaceful. Please pray for those whose lives have been taken and for their families. May God give them comfort in a time of pain. May God heal those in critical care. God weeps when we take human life into our hands and cause death. We pray: Eternal rest grant to them O Lord and give comfort to their families. Amen"
