A priest was struck by a stray bullet in Queens, and several other people were injured in overnight shootings and stabbings in separate incidents around the city.
Police say that the 49-year-old victim, whom the Post has identified as priest Damien Ekete, was on his way home when he was shot at 134th Avenue and Rockaway Boulevard. Cops say the suspects, who were in a vehicle driving by at the time, were shooting at someone else, and mistakenly struck Ekete in the arm around 12:15 a.m.
Ekete went to a nearby church after being struck, and was transported from there to Jamaica Hospital in stable condition. No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing
