This is a great fundraising initiative in the New Orleans area!! Over 500 charities are listed at an online site to raise much needed funds. Some of these charities are very well known, others are smaller in scope but still can be benefit from the funds raised.
This year my parish, Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church has been listed. This parish was established by the Archdiocese of New Orleans to help respond to the massive relocation to the area after Hurricane Katrina. Now 9 years old, the parish is in the middle of constructing a new church building. Since 2006, the parish has worshipped in a renovated retail space.
Most Holy Trinity works hard to serve the mission of Jesus Christ by serving the spiritual and physical needs of others.
