The Mayor of New Orleans fancies himself quite the Catholic, and often he certainly demonstrates his faith. He is a frequent visitor to the St. Louis Cathedral and is quite the champion for most things social justice.
This issue seems unfortunate because in this press release, he and the city come off as wholly uninterested in protecting innocent human life. You read the article and decide:
