The day we never look forward to...

It's 7 AM here on the east coast and today Wendy and I are planning our trip home after spending 5 glorious days with #1 grandson Calvin!  After early morning breakfast, Calvin returns home with dad while Nona & Pops head south and west.  We never consider this a goodbye just a see you later as we plan to be back in early September for Calvin's 2nd birthday!  Yep. my little man will soon be 2!!!


We had a great week; just being with Calvin, his mom & dad, taking trips to the Science Center and Zoo, the Children's Museum and we even went and picked strawberries at a local farm.  Of course he loved the tractors as much as the strawberries!


So off we go, realizing that we must return to life back home and we jump right into it, a weekend wedding, Masses and next week return to work and more deacon ministry!


So we see you later Calvin, and we look forward to our Sunday Skype sessions too!


By the way, little blogging today as we plan to be on the road for at least 9-10 hours today!
