Planned Parenthood finds cooperators of evil in building new baby killing facility in New Orleans

PLANNED PARENTHOOD ABORTION UPDATE!

OUTREACH TO CONTRACTORS SLOWS DOWN CONSTRUCTION OF FUTURE PLANNED PARENTHOOD FACILITY
Despite some initial victories in delaying construction of a new abortion supercenter in New Orleans, Planned Parenthood has found a general contractor and has been making progress in the building process.
The proposed $4.2 million, 8,000 square foot abortion facility on South Claiborne Avenue in New Orleans is the culmination of efforts by PPGC that started in 2010 when Planned Parenthood of Louisiana merged with Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast and began a move to begin performing abortions in Louisiana. Proposed sites for expansion into abortion services are in New Orleans, Baton Rouge, and Shreveport.  PPGC started fundraising and purchasing land on South Claiborne Avenue in New Orleans in 2010 with plans to build a new “Medical Office Building.”
Pro-life efforts have focused on education campaigns and organized prayer services and rallies at the proposed site. New Orleans Archbishop Gregory Aymond published an open letter to potential contractors notifying them that the Archdiocese “will, in its privately funded work, not enter into business relationships with any person or organization that participates in any actions that are essential to making this abortion facility a reality”.  A group of businessmen and contractors also placed an ad in the New Orleans Advocate urging other businessmen not to become involved in the project. Many businesses have refused to participate and some have quit once they have found out the nature of the project.

Despite these efforts, the General Contractor – Barre McNeely Investments – has been able to find sub-contractors ( A listing of these businesses can be found at www.lacoalitionforlife.com) willing to participate in building the abortion facility. In Mid - April, 2014, work began on the site and has slowly proceeded.   Preparation is being made to pour the concrete foundation for the building.

There are three things you can do to help stop this project:

Prayer - pray for the individuals and companies that are involved with Planned Parenthood and those businesses considering involvement. Because the project has been disguised as a "Medical Office Building", businesses unwittingly sign on to participate.

Presence - Consider going to the site (4636 S. Claiborne Ave. in New Orleans) and spending some time praying and perhaps informing workers there that they are participating in building an abortion facility.

Persuasion - Visit LACoalitionforLife.com and review the businesses identified as working for Planned Parenthood.  Contact the individuals and companies involved and politely inform them that they are helping build a new abortion facility in our state.

Thank you to everyone who has been calling and writing to the businesses helping to build this facility. Please keep contacting these businesses and check the website often for any updates.  If you have questions or need more information, visit the Contact Us page on the website.
Please go to LA Coalition for Life to find out more about this project and to see what you can do to stop Planned Parenthood from performing abortions in Louisiana.
