The Big Freeze hits the Big Easy

Recognizing that many of you across America are facing so much more frigid conditions than we are in south Louisiana, it's still way too cold.  At 7 AM my front porch temperature is 17.  These are record type lows as a typical winter for us may include a couple of 24-28 mornings.  This is our worst freeze in 18 years and is already our 3rd run the water type freeze not to mention about the 8th time we have been below 32.

Like snow, rare as that would be, we are not equipped for this kind of winter.  When we are told our day will stay below freezing until after lunchtime, that is rare.

Morning pray says something like frost and chill, bless the Lord!  On a morning like this, they must be very busy blessing the Lord!

Stay as warm as you can and be safe!
