A Calvin weekend! #1 grandson hanging in Abita!

  Our #1 grandson has been with us since Thursday afternoon and his Pops and Nona are having a great time.  For a 15 month old he sure has adapted well and is very comfortable in the house.  He has entertained throughout and has even had a few road trips.  We enjoyed a nice breakfast together in town yesterday and now he's shopping with mom & dad.

If I have not said it before(and I have) it is such a joy to be a grandfather.  My wife and I have really learned all the in's and out's of long distance grand-parenting.   We've been to North Carolina multiple times, we Skype every weekend and now this 1st visit to Louisiana!

Today Calvin gets to meet about 10 of his dad's side of the family including his first visit with his great-grandmother. 

We've had a fun visit so far and still have almost 3 more days to pack in as many memories and fun times as we can.
