Wrapping up our visit with #1 grandson; not the way I wanted to say goodbye:(

On this latest visit with my NC family I could hardly have predicted the events of this past week.  Most assuredly this has been another great visit and we were thrilled to be bringing along our daughter and, as she likes to be called, Aunt Bizzy.  Sometime during the day Wednesday my daughter got sick; either some type of food poison or a 24 hour intestinal virus.  We were all mortified because, besides having her sick, we certainly did not want the baby to get sick.  For a 10 month old, our little Calvin has avoided the usual first year colds and illnesses.  His biggest challenge quite frankly is teething.  Well I caught that damn 24 hour thing last night so my entire Friday was spent in a hotel room hugging the porcelain receptacle!  For my part, I plan on staying away from my #1 grandson, through our Saturday mid-morning departure to keep him free of my germs.  So last night my goodbye turned out to be a goodbye until September when we all will celebrate birthday #1.

Last night I watched as my son and daughter in law worked to get a 10 month picture.  Earlier on this was easy, these days it takes lots of mobility.  I watched as Sara caught this priceless picture:
