So you are preaching and you are sick; should be interesting

For the first time since my ordination in 2008 my assigned weekend preaching duties seem to be colliding with a first class head cold/sinus infection.  I have a wicked cough, my nose is full and sometimes it just feels like I can't breathe.  This should make for an interesting morning as I preach at both the 9 and 11 morning Masses in the morning.

I'm ready to explain about forgiveness as we hear in the 1st reading & Gospel.  I am ready to discuss the significance of confession as the readings reveal.  And yes, I am ready to give a little homage to Fathers out there on this Father's Day.

I just hope I can open my mouth and it all comes out without a coughing or sneezing fit.
