This path of Hurricane Isaac(not quite yet a hurricane) takes the storm, with 100 mph winds, just 35 miles east of my front door. I'm well above any bodies of water and I sit far enough above sea level that flooding is not the issue. This path, if it holds, will produce many hours of strong gusts and probably several hours, 3-4 to be precise, at category 2 winds. Again, if this holds, based on previous experience, this will lead to power outages of anywhere from 3 days to 2 weeks.
