An outbreak of "Midwest" type weather brought tornado's and severe weather to my home state. Not one of the 64 parishes in the state escaped impact. Sadly, there are injuries and some fatalities. Full damage assessments are yet to come. My area dodged a bullet despite severe weather and a tornado warning at 4:30 this morning. Now we face the inevitable flash flooding as streams and rivers accept all this runoff from up to 6 inches of rain.
All is improving now but I do appreciate your prayers for our Louisiana family!
