Louisiana one of two states where abortions are up, AP reports

Louisiana and Michigan were the only two states where state health departments reported the number of abortions had risen between 2010 and 2014, according to a survey by The Associated Press.
Louisiana saw a 12-percent increase in the number of abortions performed, from 8,772 in 2010 to 9,932 in 2014. In Michigan, the increase was 18.5 percent.
Writes AP reporter David Crary:
"In both Louisiana and in Michigan, where abortions rose by 18.5 percent, the increases were due in part to women coming from other states where new restrictions and clinic closures have sharply limited abortion access. Anti-abortion groups said many Ohio women were going to Michigan and many Texas women to Louisiana."
