Time to brush up on our Catechism, 2110-2128

In light of the foolishness coming from Harvard, the announcement of a Black Mass, and the constant affronts to Christ and His Church, we do have weapons at our disposal to fight the fight for Jesus and Holy Mother Church.

May I suggest we look to the Catechism of the Catholic Church, particularly paragraphs 2110-2128.  Here in these important paragraphs, backed up by Holy Scripture, can we learn how to keep the door closed against Satan, his demons and his evil teachings.

Covered in these paragraphs include superstition, irreligion, atheism and agnosticism.  Many of us may feel like it's no big deal when we see secular presentations on magic and divination, including psychics, fortune tellers, mediums.  We scoff that idolatry is real in today's world despite the fact that we make gods of more and more material stuff than ever before.

Paragraphs 2118-2122 specifically cover what is sacrilege, simony and how persons actually tempt, dare and test God.

Pick up the Catechism and give it a good look.  Learning our faith and being aware of all that happens around us is one sure way to combat those who promote evil, the devil and cause scandal to the Church.

You know we just renewed our Baptismal vows at Easter:  Do you reject Satan, and all his works, and all his empty promises??  May we all respond with a resounding yes!
