Loving you to heaven; some important observations

First let's talk about prayer.  When we find ourselves really needing something, a new job, someone we love perhaps getting healed, whatever it is, we really only believe that God answered our prayer if we got what we wanted.  So we got that new job, hey, God answered my prayer, a loved one gets healed, God answered my prayer.  But we all know, God always answers prayers.  We only seem to thank Him, or acknowledge Him, when the prayers are answered the way we want them to be answered.  Again, God always answers prayers.  Sometimes His answer is far better than what we asked for and sometimes what we want does not align with His perfect timing and His perfect will. God may answer no, not yet, there's something better, but God always answers prayers!

Second, for the millionth time, when our loved ones die, when we die, we do not become angels.  Nope, God made us above the angels.  We become, hopefully, Saints!

Third, at Mass, can we try and get there on time, dressed respectfully and never leave early?  I ask because I see all these things every Mass I assist at, yep, every Mass!

At Mass, not other places, at Mass, when we pray the Our Father, use praying hands; hands folded in prayer.  We should not lift our hands, use the hands position of the Priest, or hold hands.  Just at Mass!!

Finally, I love that we want to receive Jesus in the Eucharist; I mean absolutely.  But week after week, the communion line is long; the line for Confession, not so much.  Remember, we receive Jesus in a state of grace so we should avail ourselves of Confession when aware of sin and we must go to Confession once a year.  Look it up.

5 is enough; remember, I share all this because I love you, but I love you to Heaven!
