Well I am drawing ever closer to my favorite time of the year which begins around October 1st. From then to mid-late April we escape the unending heat, humidity and doldrums of summer. I for one am ready to kiss summer goodbye.
September today you tease me. September 13th, by the way the date of my #1 daughter's birthday, has dawned with low in the 50's, humidity gone and a breeze from the north and the west. Are you kidding me? And today ushers in the 1st of many Sunday football days. Not that football is more important than Church and family mind you! Today the New Orleans Saints play their opening game and even though my expectations are low, it's still Saints football!!
So thank you September for this nice tease. I'll take it!
And I'm off work one more day tomorrow; are you kidding me!
