Good news on the tropical front

This Karen storm in the Gulf has turned out, thankfully, to be a bust.  It just did not develop and forecaster now say at best she will be a depression.  So we dodged the proverbial bullet here and may pretty much may be in the clear for 2013(said cautiously).

Here is the latest map and forecast and keep in mind, all the heavier weather in this weak storm is far east and south of the center line so very few impacts here in downtown Abita Springs!
