The retreat I'm attending as a presenter is winding down day 2. As I speak, a vast majority of our aspirants and wives are upstairs in chapel, before the Blessed Sacrament. In an hour or so we will have Benediction. Tonight they watched a beautiful film about Mother Teresa which kind of summarized the day's presentations around A Simple Path.
Today they were directed to pray and ponder with the fruit of prayer is faith, the fruit of faith is love and the fruit of love is service.
After all retire tonight we will rise for breakfast and Sunday Mass, followed by our final presentation, the fruit of service is peace. Following lunch, we will debrief and depart, fortified by a wonderful weekend speaking to and listening to God along A Simple Path.
I will not be posting a homily this weekend but will be back at it next week.
