Archbishop Aymond and Bishops from Louisiana in Rome for Ad Limina Visit

Earlier today Archbishop Aymond posted this to his Facebook page:

Archbishop Gregory Aymond
2 hrs ·
The bishops of our region are on our AD LIMINA visit to Rome. Ad Limina means “to the threshold “ meaning to the tombs of St. Peter and St. Paul and a meeting with the pope. We are called to pray for all those entrusted to our care at the tombs and with the Holy Father.
We also visit the various offices in the Vatican known as Congregations or Dicastery. Today we met with the officials of the Dicastery of Laity, Family, Youth and Life. We also met with the Congregation of the Causes of Saints and spoke about Blessed Seelos and Venerable H. DeLille. Later in the day we met with the Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development , Which deals with many social justice issues. Please pray for us. We will meet with Pope Francis tomorrow. The pictures are of St. John Lateran Basilica where we celebrated mass this morning.
