Any distraction is good; this one is great!

Yep, Wendy and I enter day 35 of just sitting and waiting to see what is next in the saga of her mom's latest critical illness.  Improvements have come and she is no longer in ICU but many multiple problems remain and there seems to be no imminent end game.  Caring for the elderly when multiple things go wrong as we wrestle with all the many what's next?  In the meantime Wendy refuses to do anything but hang out hour after hour at the hospital and now physical ailments are catching up to her.  She needs rest, attention to her own medical problems and opportunities to do some things she needs and wants to do.

Some of those other things to do include being an occasional help to our daughter and our new grandbaby Brennan.  So I went and hung out tonight and got to play with this sweet baby:
