Veteran US congressman enters Catholic Church
Congressman James Sensenbrenner, a Republican member of the US Congress who has served since 1979, has quietly entered the Catholic Church. Sensenbrenner, who had been Episcopalian, was received into the Catholic Church in a private ceremony on August 25. His office has confirmed his conversion, but declined further comment, saying that the legislator "sees this as a private matter."
