Happy Mardi Gras

It's just Tuesday across most of the country and the world but today in New Orleans, LA it indeed is Fat Tuesday, Mardi Gras Day.  Farewell to flesh as we feast before the fast of Lent.  In New Orleans today, despite a forecast of bad weather, there will be non-stop parading from about 8 A.M. until dark and then more partying in the French Quarter!  I'm far from all the frivolity spending my last 2 days with #1 grandson in icy North Carolina but we did have our own parade with him yesterday in the garage!!


Still I want to wish everyone, in the finest tradition from where I hail, Happy Mardi Gras!!!
