This link from the NY Times can give you a brief snapshot of the 117 Cardinals who have the awesome responsibility of electing the successor to Pope Benedict XVI. Sometime soon, after February 28th, these men will be in conclave, under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit; 116 of them will be Cardinals and 1 will be the next Pope.
